The maniac, like 4, this villain is crazy, but in a different way. Usually the most morally bankrupt villains as they are willing to do countless things just to protect their own selves without regard to anyone else. They are happily willing to let others die just to save their own skin. A key detail is that they have no shame about any of this. May betray the hero even after they saved them just to save their own hyde. Will lie, sell out, betray, and backstab as long as it ensures their own saftey. The one who is out to save his own skin at the expense of others. Will often likely boast of the intellect and in turn mock the heroes "I am too smart for you!" "You are no match for my wit!" May be common, but generally, they will be more reserved and less haughty, only if they are in a battle or become extremely unhinged as they fight the hero will they get that way. The scheming, crafty man behind the scenes pulling the strings behind the curtain and plotting every move while the heroes walk right into their trap. If they are in love they will likely obsess over said person into they kidnap and kill them in order to "be with them forever." Genuinely disturbed and probably one of the more psychotic types of serial killers out there. The one loon who kidnaps his victims and makes them into his "work of art". Loves that admiration tho, wants to be seen in High regards by his deeply desired "admirers". Will rise to the top no matter how many people he has to kill or steal form to do it. The hegemony type villain or the power hungry egomaniac. "I have given you so much!" "You should be grateful!" Are common phrases. The manipulative parent who controls their kid and sees nothing wrong with themselves. A radical idealist set out to "cleanse" the world from what they deem impure.
